st century learning skills in creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication, students engage in interdisciplinary projects facilitated by a variety of instructors across disciplines.

Middle Learning

Middle Learning students are introduced to Media Arts through a variety of electives including robotics, broadcasting, graphic design, podcasting, and more. Through engaging, project-based learning, students are introduced to a variety of tools and the design process.  

Upper Learning

Students in grades 9–12 may elect to take a variety of Media Arts classes. These courses earn credit in Fine Arts and develop skills in screenplay writing, digital music recording, composing for video and film, game design, computer assisted design, and more. Independent studies are available for 11th and 12th grade students who are interested in going deeper into film making and are useful in the development of student portfolios for students interested in pursuing film at the university level.
